How to consume it

DRINK: Place 1g of matcha (a level teaspoon) in a bowl and pour in 70ml of water at 70-75°C. Since matcha is a ground tea, it's not brewed, it's mixed! Whisk for a few seconds with a traditional whisk or electric frother until you get a nice foam, and drink it like this for a traditional matcha drink. Top up your preparation with more water if you like, or with milk for a comforting matcha latte.

We recommend oat milk. If a few minutes after preparation, the matcha tends to settle slightly to the bottom of your cup, know that it's a very good sign! Give it a gentle flick of the wrist to stir, and enjoy its myriad virtues.

COOKING: This matcha tea can also be used as an ingredient in recipes. For delicious treats bursting with goodness, use this green tea in endless ways: pastries, ice cream, smoothies, and more!

🌿 THE THOUSAND BENEFITS OF MATCHA ANATE TEA

• An excellent drink for your health because there is no infusion, you actually ingest the tea.
• Rich in antioxidants, vitamins and chlorophyll because our matcha comes from the youngest tea leaves: the most fragile, the greenest, and the most nutritious! It is thanks to them that we obtain an extremely fine powder of such good quality.
• Excellent for memory, concentration and creativity: Ceremony matcha tea contains mild caffeine as well as a natural calming agent called L-Theanine.
• A “serene energy”: the unique balance formed by a stimulant and a relaxant allows you to achieve a state of mind that is both awake and calm.
• An organic matcha tea grown in the ancestral Japanese tradition, without the use of pesticides, to offer you all the benefits of an excellent product.

CONSUME MATCHA TEA AS A DRINK OR IN COOKING

Frequently Asked Questions

WHERE DOES THE MATCHA CEREMONY ANATAE COME FROM?

Our Ceremony matcha comes from Nishio, Japan, where it is cultivated with passion by our partner farmers, with the greatest respect for the environment.

HOW TO CONSUME THIS MATCHA?

Ceremony Matcha tea can be used to prepare hot or cold drinks, pastries, smoothies or sprinkled on savory or sweet dishes.

Of very high quality, we recommend it for the traditional Japanese drink (with water) or for the matcha latte (matcha + milk of your choice).

A MATCHA TEA WITHOUT BITTERNESS?

FROM LEAF TO MATCHA: In spring, in Nishio, Japan, our farmers hand-harvest the youngest leaves from their tea plants. Hand-harvesting is the secret to excellent matcha because it allows us to truly select the leaves richest in antioxidants, those that contain no bitterness.

The leaves were then steamed for a few seconds to freeze their properties. Later, the main veins of the leaves (which can cause bitterness) were carefully removed by hand to keep only the heart of the leaf: the part richest in benefits and the tastiest. Finally, after being carefully dried, the leaves were ground between two granite millstones, to finally obtain a 100% natural, organic powder, very rich in flavors, and without bitterness.

This ceremonial matcha is certified organic by Certipaq Bio France. All our tea plants thrive in harmony with nature, surrounded by an incredible array of insects that we leave undisturbed.
